It’s been a busy few months here at Immedia Creative. With our clients expanding, we knew it was time to grow our team too.
With that being said, we would love to introduce to our new UI Designer – Jamie!
We welcomed Jamie to our team in May and since then he’s been adding his creative flair to various projects, including our own Immedia Creative website (watch this space!).
Despite his busy work schedule, we managed to pull him away from his beloved Figma so we could explore just exactly who is and what makes him tick.
Here’s what we found out.
Born in:
Swansea, Wales.
What’s your role in the team?
UI Designer
When you’re not knee deep in Figma – what can we find you doing most weekends?
You can typically find me exploring the local Welsh coastline – either on foot or by boat. I spend a lot of time fishing and I love to spend time with friends sitting around a fire. I’m also a season ticket holder at Swansea City Football Club and a huge Formula 1 fan.
What’s the most exciting part of your job?
There’s nothing quite like seeing a client’s brand come alive right in front of their eyes. Being part of the journey as an idea takes shape and transforms into a real, usable product is exciting. Seeing real people out there using and enjoying the products I’ve designed, It’s the kind of fulfilment that motivates me every day.
If you could meet one famous figure (past or present), who would it be and why?
I am currently reading a book called Endurance, about an explorer called Sir Ernest Shackleton and his voyage to the Antarctic in 1914. It got me thinking how incredible it would be to meet a true explorer. I’m sure the stories he (or she) had to tell would be fascinating.
Thank you Jamie – we’re hoping your own adventure with the Immedia Creative team proves as exciting. And we look forward to a team meeting in Swansea one day soon to discover more about your home town.
