The London Wine Academy provides wine tasting and education courses in London and in various locations in the South East.  Their courses make ideal gifts, and as such are often purchased on behalf of friends and family.

We designed and built his website on the WordPress platform using a mixture of plug-ins and bespoke programming, to produce a solution for event booking combined with sales as redemption of gift vouchers.

The mechanics of the website were particularly complex, as we were required to provide a number of potential routes through, and conclusions to the buying process. After much research, we concluded that there was no “off the shelf” solution available, and yet we wanted to provide the client with a website that was based on an industry standard platform.

The solution to this came from a mixture of WordPress plug-ins, such as Event Espresso and Woo Commerce, augmented with an amount of bespoke code to customise the systems to achieve the project goals.
